Description:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at KUKUI you will generate new sales opportunities, add qualified leads to the sales funnel, and schedule client demos. Your responsibilities in this role include prospecting, cold calling, following up, and passing on qualified leads to other sales professionals who will convert them into new clients.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop sales opportunities
Pass on qualified opportunities and schedule demos for assigned closing sales professionals
Interact with prospects via email, phone, and using other sales generation tools
Research new and existing pipeline accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
Update prospect interactions following defined processes in our CRM to ensure efficient data management
Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objectives
Achieve monthly quotas for calls made, emails sent, and demos scheduled
Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:

Familiarity with modern sales engagement and automation tools.
Qualify (and disqualify) prospects through comprehensive research; invest the necessary time accordingly
Cold email, calling, social media outreach -- tactics proven to start revenue-driving conversations that you’ve successfully implemented in (ideally) a previous role
Ability to engage prospects, build credibility, and utilize sales techniques to move clients through the beginning of their buying journey, including effective questioning and note taking, objection handling, strategic positioning, and closing on next steps
Build peer relationships with owners and management of target accounts
Thoughtful, creative, and strategic in how you get to the end result
Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Experience with social media outreach is a plus
Excellent discovery and listening skills
Clear, concise communication with clients and teammates
Experience working in SaaS or software environment (nice to have)
Experience with aftermarket auto repair clients (nice to have)
